Here at Elite Concepts we love to repair and resurface existing concrete, saving home owners thousands in the process. However that’s not always possible, or practical. In these rare cases when the concrete cant be repaired or you’re in need of fresh concrete we offer those services as well. We do things right the very first time around. We always use the right mix and additives for the job! When it comes to concrete driveways and outdoor concrete we always start with a 3,500 psi concrete blend. Other companies use weaker mixes, cutting their cost. We begin with site preparation, after choosing a spot for your flatwork we will start excavation of the area. Next the substrate must be compacted to minimize the chances of the slab settling and cracking. After that we build the forms that will be used to hold the concrete. Rebar will then be inserted to further bond the concrete together. Once the concrete truck arrives the pour begins and everything must be ready. We then screed, float, edge, groove and hand trowel the concrete to the desired finish. These techniques combined with our knowledge and experience will leave you with concrete work that will last several lifetimes!
