We begin by cleaning out the crack we are filling with a diamond impregnated blade. We chase the crack and knock off all the rough edges that will fall off and cause more problems down the road.
Elite Concepts offer two types of concrete repair. Once the crack is cleaned and dried, our certified technicians will check your personal situation and decide which is best for your needs. It is important to understand the goal of crack repair. It is to “weld” the crack together making it the strongest part of the slab and cutting a new tension relief cut where the concrete will crack again. Essentially, we are controlling where the concrete cracks. These steps are critical and must be preformed before any type of additional work can begin. After the crack has been properly repaired we usually, though not necessary, apply a micro topping.
